Frequently asked questions
R+ stands for positive reinforcement, a training approach where behaviours are taught through a systematic use of rewards. It's a gentle, fun, fair, horse-friendly training approach, which creates a trusting and cooperative partnership between horse and human. It's also a highly effective training technique for working with any equine from fearful and unhandled up to advanced ridden work. Our presenters will demonstrate this, with a strong focus on the practical application so that you can use it effectively with your horse.
We have aimed to set up our program in a way that both beginners and professionals can get something out of it. Whether you already use R+ in your training or are curious about it, you'll get new insights. In the lectures there will be room for Q&A's, and discussion with the speakers.
